Facing Rivière-au-Tonnerre, starting point of your crossing, this majestic island and its people await you, for a day of discovering history, and watching white-tailed deers, and smell fresh ocean air.

Day 1: Flight from Montréal or Québec | Sept-Îles | Rivière-au-Tonnerre (125 km)
Fly withPascan Aviation, from Montreal or Quebec. In your rental car, head east towards Minganie. At approximately 85km from Sept-Iles, we suggest that you stop for a hike along the magnificent Manitou falls (45 to 60 minute trail).
While you are there, pick up the “CD routier” to accompany you on your trip from Havre-Saint-Pierre to Natashquan.
A welcome cocktail, of local flavours, awaits you in Riviere-au-Tonnerre along with a “Coaster” (local resident) who will accompany you during your audio tour of the Normand style wooden church.
Settle in for one night at L’Escale Lam-Air.

Day 2: Rivière-au-Tonnerre | Anticosti | Rivière-au-Tonnerre
After your continental breakfast, climb aboard “La Macreuse” in Riviere-Saint-Jean, for a 06 :30 departure to Port-Menier.
During your crossing (estimated time: 2 hours), you may have the chance to observe some marine mammals. The principal town of Anticosti Island, Port-Menier, awaits your arrival. Visit Port-Menier on a guided tour.
At approximately 04:00 pm, it is time to board for the return trip to Riviere-Saint-Jean.
Meals: Continental breakfast included. Lunch and dinner at your convenience.
Accommodations: Longue Pointe de Mingan Gite de la chicoutai**

Day 3: Longue Pointe de Mingan | Natashquan (202km)
Direction Natashquan. La Maison de la Culture Innue (Innu cultural centre), inspired by the traditional longhouses and way of life, offers you, among other things, a permanent exhibit and a handicraft shop.
The “CD routier” will accompany you from Havre-Saint-Pierre to Natashquan. Stop for a photo opportunity at the observation point “La montagne ronde” for a unique point-of-view of Havre-Saint-Pierre. In Baie-Johan-Beetz, stop at the site of the historical “chateau”.
In Natashquan, you need to stop at the tourist information centre to visit the interpretation centre “Le Bord du Cap” and “la Vielle École”(the old schoolhouse) highlighting the characters from the works of Gilles Vigneault.
Discover the heritage site of the “Galets” with a “Coaster”(time to be confirmed). If time permits, you could head to Kegaska (44km), the first village of the Lower-North-Shore to be linked to the rest of Quebec by route #138.
Settle in for the night at “Le Port d’Attache” (2*).
Meals: Continental breakfast included. Lunch and dinner at your convenience.

Day 4: Natashquan | Havre Saint-Pierre (160km)
Return to Havre-Saint-Pierre, visit the Roland Jomphe cultural centre before heading to the portail Pelagie Cormier for 12:30, a half hour before your 13:00 departure for the 3.5 hour cruise to discover the central sector of the Mingan Archipelago National Park Reserve and admire the numerous monoliths and the fantastic surroundings.
Stay overnight at l’Hotel-Motel du Havre (2*).

Day 5: Havre-Saint-Pierre | Sept-Îles (225km)
On your way back, enjoy a stop at Longue-Pointe-de-Mingan for a visit to the Mingan Island Cetacean Study Center (Station de recherche des Îles Mingan).
Back in Sept-Îles, the Regional Museum, and the Old Trading Post will allow you to discover a part of the North Shore history.
Your return flight to Montreal or Quebec City is scheduled for the end of the day.
