Why do we do this? Because there is no road in other seasons, the white route is a way of opening up.

PROGRAM (6 DAYS / 6 NIGHTS EXPEDITION ON THE WHITE ROUTE).

Arrive in Natashquan, village known for cultural tourism and birthplace of poet-songwriter Gilles Vigneault.
Overnight at the Inn, breakfast included (option $: change room category)
Continental breakfast at the Inn, before hitting the trail.
Pass through Kegaska and La Romaine (Unamen Shipu) on your way to Chevery (200 km). Lunch on the trail, in a shelter or in one of the villages’ restaurants. Head to Harrington Harbour Island, a charming English-speaking village (14 km). Enjoy a stroll around the village where the original comedy film La Grande Séduction was filmed (English versions: The Grand Seduction and Seducing Dr. Lewis) .
You’re free all evening to converse with your excellent hostess, a native Newfoundlander.
Overnight in cottage or inn, breakfast and supper included.
Breakfast at your lodging. Take a helicopter tour of the area. Depart for La Tabatière via Mutton Bay (80 km). Stop to photograph the picturesque village of Mutton Bay from the top of the hill.
Next stop on the increasingly rugged trail is St. Augustin/Pakua Shipi (40 km). Lunch at the local restaurant.
Depart for Vieux Fort (88 km). Depending on weather and snow conditions, this portion of the trail can be very beautiful. Take a break at the general store in Vieux Fort, the westernmost settlement in the amalgamated town of Bonne-Espérance
Leave for Blanc-Sablon via Rivière-Saint-Paul and Middle Bay (83 km). Arrive in Blanc-Sablon.
Overnight at Inn or Hotel, breakfast included.
Depart for Rivière-St-Paul after breakfast.
Spend an hour with one of our favorite *Coasters. Visit the Whiteley Museum.
Lunch in the village (included) before making an off-road visit to the archipelago with your local guide.
Return to the village of Rivière-St-Paul for supper.

Leave for Tête-à-la-Baleine after breakfast. (190KM
Lunch on the road. Take a guided tour of Toutes-Îles Archipelago in Tête-à-à-Baleine.
Overnight in B&B or Inn, breakfast and supper included.
After breakfast, leave for Natashquan.
Remember to pack a lunch for the trail. Arrive in Natashquan in the afternoon.
