Meet a local guide (Coaster) who will accompany you through a typical experience in the tundra and boreal forest. Coste Travel, a specialist in snowmobile tours on the North Shore, will remotely assist and guide you as part of its mission as a social and solidarity-based enterprise.

DAY 1: Havre-Saint-Pierre (249 km from Sept-Îles)

You can access the Minganie trail network via TQ93. The trail is dotted with scenic lookouts offering views of the river. Just before reaching Rivière-au-Tonnerre, you’ll cross a picturesque bridge over the Manitou River. Stop in Thunder River, the gateway to Minganie, to sample local products with the Coste Travel team at 454 Jacques Cartier, Rivière-au-Tonnerre. Visit of Saint-Hippolyte church.

These encounters with local residents aim to share the spirit of the region.
After this lively break, continue to the capital of Minganie, Havre-St-Pierre, once known as Havre aux Esquimaux. TQ3 runs alongside and crosses rivers between Sept-Îles and Havre-St-Pierre, passing through picturesque villages such as Magpie, Rivière-St-Jean, Longue-Pointe-de-Mingan, and Mingan.

Upon arrival in Havre-St-Pierre (100 KM), you will be welcomed by locals eager to provide a sustainable tourism experience in their fully autonomous chalets near the snowmobile trail.

Check into your eco-friendly, 100% self-sufficient mini chalet. Nestled in nature and near the sea, the chalet features a high-performance solar power system for electricity, a Nespresso machine with capsules, and a continental breakfast included. Everything is set to make your stay unforgettable!

Refuel at the stopover point upon arrival.

You have several dining options in Havre-St-Pierre, with restaurants open 7 days a week until 9 p.m.

Day 2Havre-St-Pierre / Baie-Johan-Beetz (156 KM) / Havre-St-Pierre
