Inspired by the maritime landscapes featured in the famous film La Grande Séduction, this tour takes you deep into an isolated and fascinating territory where maritime traditions, coastal Anglophone culture and majestic nature come together.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 — TuesdayMontreal / Harrington Harbour

Check-in at Montréal–Saint-Hubert Airport, Québec City Airport, or at one of the airports served by Air Liaison on the North Shore.

Flight to Chevery.

Upon arrival:

  • boat-taxi transfer to Harrington Harbour;
  • crossing of approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes, depending on sea conditions.

Welcome by your host and check-in at your guesthouse.

The rest of the day is free to peacefully discover this unique island village, famous for its wooden boardwalks and authentic maritime atmosphere.

In the evening:

  • seafood dinner prepared with fresh products from the local marine processing cooperative.

Day 2 — WednesdayHarrington Harbour

Guided walking tour with a local English-speaking guide.

Discoveries:

  • the village’s wooden boardwalks and bridges;
  • Christ Church;
  • the Jacques-Cartier Monument;
  • Marguerite’s Cave;
  • the Rowsell House Interpretation Centre.

Your guide will also introduce you to the main filming locations of the movie La Grande Séduction.

After the visit:

  • a picnic basket prepared by your host will be provided;
  • free hike to the heights of the island to enjoy a spectacular view of the archipelago.

Free afternoon.

In the evening:

  • maritime dinner at the guesthouse.

Day 3 — ThursdayHarrington Harbour / Tête-à-la-Baleine

Morning boarding aboard the Bella Desgagnés coastal ferry.

Approximately two hours of sailing along the northern shoreline of the Gulf of St. Lawrence toward Tête-à-la-Baleine.

Experience:

  • spectacular coastal landscapes;
  • isolated villages;
  • many photography opportunities.

Upon arrival:

  • welcome at the dock by your host;
  • minibus transfer;
  • introductory guided tour of the village.

Check-in at your accommodation for the next two nights.

Day 4 — FridayToutes-îles Archipelago

Departure by motorboat for a full day of exploration in the Toutes-Îles archipelago.

Planned visits:

  • the interpretation centre dedicated to the legendary Jos Hébert, the region’s first mail carrier;
  • the historic chapel on Providence Island;
  • the islands and islets of the archipelago.

Picnic during the excursion.

This day will allow you to discover:

  • local maritime history;
  • island traditions;
  • the wild beauty of North Shore landscapes.

Accommodation: Guesthouse — shared bathroom

Day 5 — SaturdayTête-à-la-Baleine / Mutton Bay / La Tabatière

Speedboat transfer to La Tabatière, crossing the island landscapes of the Toutes-Îles.

Activities:

  • hike to the Île à Pierrot lookout;
  • exceptional panoramas over the archipelago.

Continuation to Mutton Bay, a charming fishing village known for:

  • lobster;
  • crab;
  • scallops.

Guided tour of the area with your local guide.

A 9 km scenic road then connects Mutton Bay to La Tabatière.

Check-in at the guesthouse.

Meals: On your own
Accommodation: Guesthouse — shared bathroom

Day 6 — SundayLa Tabatière

After a continental breakfast, departure with your hosts for a lobster fishing observation activity.

Depending on weather conditions:

  • picnic on the rocks;
  • or lunch prepared at the guesthouse.

Free afternoon to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and the surrounding natural landscapes.

Dinner on your own.

Meals included: Breakfast and lunch/picnic
Accommodation: Guesthouse — shared bathroom

Day 7 — MondayLa Tabatière / Chevery / Return

After breakfast:

  • transfer to La Tabatière Airport;
  • helicopter flight to Chevery.

Connection with your return flight to your city of departure.
