  • For 8 to 13 people;
  • Approximate duration of 135 to 150 minutes, or according to the ship’s schedule.

This tour will allow you to discover various facets of this maritime Mid-North capital, where members of the Innu First Nation — who have frequented these lands for thousands of years — live side by side with the people of Sept-Îles, descendants of families from across the St. Lawrence, from the Magdalen Islands, and many other places upstream and downstream of the river.

We will also take you to the North Shore Regional Museum, an excellent introduction to the region you are about to discover, and explain the importance of the Moisie River (Mista-shipu) for the Innu people.

Today, culture, traditions, nature, education, sports, health and recreation all shape daily life in this modern city, where Euro-Québécois and Innu cultures meet and coexist.

This morning tour offers an overview of the city, the islands that stand at the center of the bay (Uashat), the beach sector, the third-largest airport in Québec, as well as visits to the Regional Museum and the historic trading post (“Vieux-Poste”).
