Arrival in Blanc-Sablon. Several activities are available to you.
In Blanc-Sablon: Visitor Centre and Interpretation Centre: the history of our region.

Head to Middle Bay: Middle Bay Interpretation Centre: illustrated history and heritage of the village, including artifacts and images (and a restaurant inside).
Continue on Route 138 West to the village of Vieux-Fort. Hiking trails north of the village lead to the fabulous viewpoint at Granny’s Hill.
Continue to the village of Rivière-Saint-Paul: Take a boat tour of the archipelago with a knowledgeable local guide, followed by a picnic on one of the islands in the Rivière-Saint-Paul archipelago. Accommodation at the Auberge in Rivière Saint Paul. Dinner at the Auberge.
Visit the Whiteley Museum, named after William H. Whiteley, who invented the cod trap that revolutionized fishing across Eastern Canada. The museum commemorates many other individuals who left their mark on the region, from prehistoric Indigenous hunters and 16th-century Basque whalers to 19th-century missionaries and 20th-century residents.
You will take a guided tour of the Salmon Bay Farm, an exceptional aquaculture site in the municipality of Bonne Espérance. Learn about scallop farming techniques on land and/or at sea in its natural environment.
On the way back to Blanc-Sablon, stop at Brador Falls, protected by an endless labyrinth of low-lying rocky islands. The high hills surrounding the community provided shelter to the early pioneers, making it a central place for fishing, hunting, and trade, as it was abundant with cod, herring, mackerel, salmon, seals, and whales. Accommodation in Blanc-Sablon.
Breakfast before heading to Labrador. Travel to Mary’s Harbour to catch the boat for the 1 hour 25-minute crossing of the Strait of St. Lewis to Battle Harbour, a revitalized fishing hamlet located on Battle Island, along the Labrador coast. The accommodations offer guests a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the authentic atmosphere of a traditional Newfoundland village, providing a way to travel back in time and discover Newfoundland and Labrador’s rich history and scenic landscapes. Admission to the site and a guided tour of the historic village.
Lunch and dinner at Battle Harbour.
Breakfast and departure to return by ferry from Red Bay. Visit the Red Bay Interpretation Centre, managed by Parks Canada, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Return to Blanc-Sablon. Accommodation at the hotel.
